Protection of Livestock Germplasm Indonesia for National Food Self-Sufficiency

Farms can be interpreted as one form of animal protein fulfillment of society. Every country has the characteristics of livestock that need to be developed as an effort to increase the independence of national food product. Farm animals in Indonesia now is a lot traded on a large scale. However, the negative effects of this trade is breeding germplasm in Indonesia will be reduced. Therefore, protection of live stock germplasm in indonesia is very necessary because in order to preserve the local farm animal species, in addition to the local farm products can also be used as one form of food self-sufficiency. Solutions that can be done is the establishment of an institutional system that leads the national level concerning the protection of local cattle Indonesia. At the institutional system will be established also a special artificial insemination centers local livestock Indonesia who are spread in various regions that have the potential of local livestock. Hall insemination would lead to two goals of preserving germplasm of local live stock and also establish a functioning independent live stock farming to meet the needs of local food products. Therefore, if a country can meet the needs of local livestock, then the result of obtained will reduce or stop the import of livestock from other countries.

ABSTRAK

Indonesia memiliki banyak permasalahan yang sangat mendalam mengenai limbah dan kebanyakan limbah tersebut dibuang sembarangan atau tidak dimanfaatkan secara penuh. Antara lain limbah peternakan dan sekam padi yang berdampak pada pencemaran lingkungan sekitar. Untuk solusi penanganan limbah kotoran ternak dan sekam padi tersebut adalah pembuatan kompor multi energi dengan sistem dua jalur pembakaran. Pembakaran ini dimaksudkan untuk mengefisienkan kinerja dari kotoran ternak dan sekam padi. Pada proses pengolahan, limbah kotoran ternak akan diubah menjadi gas dan sekam padi akan diubah menjadi briket sekam padi. Hasil yang didapat dengan menggabungkan dua jalur sistem pembakaran selain efisien adalah hasil pembakaran akan lebih sempurna. Untuk rancangan kompor multi energi adalah menggabungkan dua sistem kompor dari biogas dan briket sekam padi. Kompor multi energi merupakan salah satu solusi dari penanganan pencemaran limbah yang semakin tidak terkendali. Selain solusi penanganan limbah, kompor multi energi juga sebagai energi alternatif untuk masa depan dan pengurangan ketergantungan dari BBM yang tiap tahun semakin menurun cadangannya. Kompor multi energi juga memiliki keuntungan yang lain yaitu sebagai kompor yang hemat dan ekonomis.

Traditional Communication Aeromodelling Aircraft For Indonesian Children Education

ABSTRACT

Education is an important issue in Indonesia, one of them is about education outside school activities. Education outside school activities is needed by the children because every child has different wishes and different talents to activities outside of school. And the solution to these problems is to use games as a vehicle of education methods. The game which becomes vehicle for education, children are expected to be learning about something useful for the future. One example of educational games for the ride is a traditional aircraft aeromodelling. Traditional aircraft aeromodelling game is an activity to train children about education aeromodelling air through a traditional aircraft manufacturing. In addition, children can communicate and cooperate among friends with one another about the making of traditional aircraft aeromodelling. Children will feel happy if given new knowledge about the game that is rarely used for activities outside of school lessons. Children who are keen to learn at a young age belong aeromodelling aircraft are expected to contribute ideas that will make progress for air transportation in Indonesia for the foreseeable future.
